Gesture Drawings
Kindergarten Collage
Our kindergarteners are busy making these Eric Carle inspired trees for their owl collages. They mixed colors to paint their own papers and added textures just like Eric Carle too! I love their beautiful results and love what I do each day!

Here are a few examples of our 5th grade photos created in the Wordphoto app. Students photographed themselves in art class and then added adjectives to describe their personality.
4th Grade Fieldtrip to the High Museum of Art
Fourth graders attended a fieldtrip to the High Museum of Art in Atlanta this week and participated in the I See Literacy Tour where they learned more about reading works of art as you would read text. Our students are very fortunate to have the opportunity to go to the High each year in fourth grade since 2005! A great time was had by all students and teachers as well!

Youth Art Month
Congratulations to Amber, one of our kindergarten artists, and William, one of our second grade artists, who were chosen to represent our school in Fulton County's Youth Art Month display this year. We are so proud of them both! Their artwork will be on display at our administration building during the month of March. Way to go students!
